Description

Fine antique set of eight George III mahogany dining chairs consisting of two carver chairs and six dining chairs. They all boast superior figured mahogany backs with reeded splats to the centre with fantastic turned balls. The carver chairs having elegantly shaped scrolled arms with turned supports, they all stand on turned legs to the front and outswept back legs, united by turned stretchers. The drop in seats have been newly reupholstered in a quality fabric fitting with the period.

These splendid examples are in lovely original condition - the design, craftsmanship, colour and patination are superior.
