The bureau having a quality mahogany full opening to reveal a fitted interior consisting 8 serpentine drawers, 8 pigeon holes, 4 bookends and a centre door opening to reveal secrets drawers and a leather writing surface above 2 short and 3 long cockbeeded oak lined drawers with original brass handles and escutcheons standing on ogee bracket feet
