Impressive Victorian Brass Scales

Description
A large and imposing set of brass balance scales. Made by Bartlett & Son of Bristol, they are stamped on the arm 'Patent Agate Balance', along with a crown and stamped VR below. They stand an impressive 27" high. (68.5 cm)Also stamped 'TO WEIGH 4lbs' and 'Class B', they stand on a mahogany board which is 23" (58 cm) wide x 11" (27.5 cm) deep and 1" (2.5 cm) thick.
