Description

So stunning, it's hard to describe this fine 19th century "Meissen" dressing table casket. The porcelain is richly mounted in gilt metal together with the charming objects in it's fitted necessaire interior.

The box is painted all round with figures and horses in classical landscape panels bordered in gilt on a hatched white ground. The lid interior is also painted with a sumptuous figural panel within engraved gilt metal borders enclosing a fitted lift out tray.

This amazing casket measures 19.5 cm wide by 15 cm deep and it stands 9 cm high when closed.
