An interesting piece of Inuit or Eskimo folk art of a carved wooden figure seated in a sealskin covered kayak. The figure can be removed from his seat and wears a sealskin jacket. The paddle he carries is wood with slivers of bone along the edges. The face of the figure is blank. The oar is missing some bone at one end.
