This large and wonderful 17th century Mirror (circa 1680-1700), known as a cushion mirror, is Walnut with Marquetry inlay, The marquetry is well executed and fills the mirror frame with exuberant foliage and birds.

The mirror is likely to have originally had a 'crest' on top but, as with most of these early mirrors, it would have been quite fragile and was lost at some point in it's long history. The glass has been replaced.

The outer measurement is 35.5" (90 cm) high x 31" (79 cm) wide.
The inner measurement is 24.5" (61 cm) high x 19.5" (50 m) wide.
