This lovely Staffordshire Toby Jug, circa 1800, with Wheildon style base, represents a gentleman taking snuff. There is no apparent restoration and the colours are very bright. the jug measures:

Height: 8.5" (22cm)
Diam: 5.5" (14cm) front to back
