Description

A very fine 18th Century walnut bureau with bombe front, profusely, and exquisitely, inlaid with a floral design, and set on claw feet. The bureau has 4 external drawers and 9 internal drawers behind the fall. The interior is beautifully fitted with a central cupboard and an additional drawer behind.

The bottom right interior drawer doubles as a writing receptacle with 2 odd inkwells fitted and there is a baize lined well inside the fall.

The colour of this bureau is really excellent, the exterior drawers are all oak lined and it is in mint condition, a fine example of a hard to find piece of furniture.

The bureau measures 47 1/2" wide x 23 1/2" deep x 43" high.
