An exceptional, rare pair of 19th Century French, beautifully and profusely carved wood chairs, matched with similar decorative and intricate detail. The top rails having the same geometric design with ebony detail that repeats under the arms and apron. Each chair has its own distinctions of either interlocking circles or geometrical designs. Having fabulous scrolled arms resting on carved blocks and paterae at the corners. Raised on front facing cabriole shaped legs.
