Large 19th Century English Oak Drum Table
A Large Octagonal 19th Century English Oak Drum Table.

This table top has a tooled leather inset surface, with unusual wavy edges. There are four dummy drawers alternating with four functioning ones, all with panelled mouldings and small, brass pull handles. The turned supporting central column has an unusual, large barley twist shape. The quadripartite base stands on four squashed bun feet. This table was almost certainly a bespoke one-off.

An interesting table of good quality.
