A Monumental Four Metre Long French Oak Drapers Table.

This charming and handsome table is of enormous scale, measuring four metres in length. The overhanging top is supported on a series of legs at right angles to each other with architectural corbel detailing. There is also an undertier or platform stretcher with its original paint, to which all the legs are connected. There is a plinth base made up of two layers of timber. The top is planked with cleated ends with plenty of signs of age and use which add to its charm.
