Set of Eight French Painted Chairs c.1940A Set of Eight Original Painted French Chairs c.1940
These chairs, in the rococo revival style, have rush seats and cabriole front legs, serpentine crest rails and modified ladderback-type splats. The chairs all retain their original off-white painted finish with gilded highlights and the decoration has aged beautifully, mellowing with time.
