Description

A beautiful George II red walnut fold over top card table.
This table is in good original condition. The top is flat and of good timber. The base has rounded corners with a set back centre with a single oak lined drawer and brass swan neck plate handle.
It sits on cabriole legs terminating in a pad foot. To the top of the leg it has a simple carved knee. When folded over it reveals four oval sunken counter pockets, with four card placement areas at the corners. The left back leg swings 90 degrees to support the top when open. This is a very elegant smart table from this period.
