Description

A handsome early Victorian mahogany brass bound military writing slope. This is a good quality writing slope with brass protection to all outer edges. There is a brass cartouche to the centre of the top which is still blank.
There is a secret drawer to lower right hand side. The inside has its original green baize lining. It has a pen tray with two complimentary inkwells. The upper flap has a working lock with key. The lower flap is locked in place with two brass catches which allow it to be folded back for storage. This slope also has a working lock with key to the front. This is fabulous quality and of good size.
