Description

A lovely English Victorian bachelors silver plated round tea kettle with woven cane handle, it sits on a stand with burner on three padded feet. You can remove the back pin on the stand so that you can tip the kettle forwards to pour water and can remove the front pin as well to allow you to remove kettle from stand. Circa 1890.

These small tea kettles were often used for one person, so you didn't need to heat up as much water, hense the name 'bachelors tea kettle'!

In good condition - any dark areas are shadows from the photography, there is now ear to silver plate.
