Description

A beautiful set of 6 silver gilt enamelled teaspoons, presented in original suede case which is silk and velvet lined. The box has gold lettering, possibly 'ESSIE' stamped on the corner. They were retailed by 'Aitchison' and the inside of the box reads 'Aitchison to her Majesty the Queen, court jeweller, 80 Princes Street Edinburgh'. Marked 'D & F' for Deakin & Francis, Birmingham, and hallmarked Birmingham 1893.

Measurements:
Spoon length: 3 3/4" (approx 9.5cm)

Unusual enamelled set, possibly with English royal family connections - could use some research.
