Description

An unusual Victorian claret jug with a glass body and silver plated handle and top and a lovely squirrel crest on the lid of the spout. Marked 'M.H & Co': Martin Hall & Co, England. Circa 1880.

Measurements:
Height: 12" (approx 30cm)
Diameter of base: 5" (approx 12.5cm)

Probably comes from a large country estate, hence the interesting family crest.

Note of condition: Very slight wear to the original silver plate, though this doesn't detract from the overall appearance of the piece.
