Description
A walnut Victorian stick barometer. Choice burr walnut grain to the case and the original carved cistern cover. A mercury thermometer to the scale. A twin adjustable Vernier scale to the main dial. Bevelled glass to the main dial and thermometer box. Maurice Aronesberg of Liverpool is recorded in Bafields' 'Barometer Makers and Retailers' book as working circa 1858 - 1875.Height 39 " / 98 cms
