Description

A Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos clock. A rarer 'Embassy' model with a red textured 'marbleised' dial. A gilt chapter ring and hands. A gilded case with the original finish in excellent condition. An opening front door with a pendulum slide lock beneath. Complete with the outer blue lined box and the original Atmos box and instructions information. Circa 1970.

The Atmos clocks operate without batteries or manual winding by using a hermetically sealed bellows like an aneroid mechanism. It expands and contracts with minute temperature changes to power the clock.
