A Georgian period mercury wheel barometer. A mahogany case of good proportions with an architectural top pediment and the original brass finial. Marquetry case inlays and banding to the case edging. A well engraved thermometer scale and main dial. Signed to the dial 'C Prada High Wycombe'. Circa 1820.

Casmro Prada of High Wycombe is recorded in Banfields 'Barometer Makers and Retailers' book as working between 1815 and 1835
