A bell striking Swiss brass cased striking carriage clock. An enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Signed to the dial 'Aubert, Lausanne'. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a bell. The original escapement visible through the oval top glass. Circa 1885.

Aubert Fils of Lausanne, Switzerland are noted makers. This is a rarer example being a bell strike.
