A well proportioned French Portico mantel clock. An enamel with blued steel 'moon' hands and a decorative engine turned bezel surround. A gilt sunburst pendulum. Doric capped columns with line boxwood inlays. Fine quality marquetry inlays to the case of floral design. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell by Bamet of Paris. Signed to the enamel dial 'Baulle & Cie, Geneve. Circa 1875.
