Description

A fine quality early, rarer example of a mercury wheel barometer. A mahogany case with choice veneers and a swan neck pediment. A wider and deeper case with an opening door for the long scale thermometer with silvered dial. Parquetry case inlays with chequered banding detailing. A silvered engraved dial signed 'Luisetti, London'. Circa 1780.
