Description

A late Victorian fusee dial wall clock. A 12" painted dial signed 'MILLER BRIGHTON' with blued steel hands. A mahogany case with a brass bezel surround. An 8-day duration fusee timepiece mechanism. This has a lovely provenance with an original makers label to the side. Circa 1875.

The Miller family of clockmakers are recorded in Loomes 'Watchmakers & Clockmakers of The Worldl' book as working in Brighton in the late 19th century.
