A French brass and gilt cased carriage clock. Finely gilded fretwork to the top and bottom panels. A gilt dial masking to the enamel chapter ring with a gilt centre. Blued steel hands. An impressive case standing on bun feet and top finials. Fluted side columns. An 8-day duration timepiece mechanism. An escapement visible through the top glass. Circa 1900.
