A French brass cased striking carriage clock. A brass case with an enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Corinthian capped fluted front and rear side columns. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. A lever escapement. Circa 1890Height 4 3/4 "/ 12 cms (size with handle down) Width 3 3/4" / 9cms Depth 3" / 8 cms
