An 1809 Silver verge fusee pocket watch by George Hanson, London. A high quality English fusee mechanism, with engraved backcock and diamond endstone. Backplate signed by maker 'George Hanson, 49 Salisbury Square, London' and numbered 2290. An unusual silver dial, with raised gilt Roman numerals and gilt hands.
