A French brass cased striking carriage clock. An enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel 'arrow' hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. Original lever escapement. Push button repeating. Mechanism numbered 1243. Circa 1895.Height 5 1/2"/ 14cms (size with handle down) Width 4" / 10 cms Depth 3 1/2" 8 cms
