Description
A fine quality English carriage clock of small proportions. A heavy gilt brass case with fine scrolled rococo style engraving standing on bun feet. A circular silvered dial with 'moon' blued steel hands and engraved dial masking. A well cast carrying handle with scrolled ends. Small finials to the case top and fluted columns. An 8-day duration timepiece mechanism. A later escapement. Circa 1840.Height 3 " / 8 cm (size with handle down)
