Description

135 year old Hampden pocket watch measuring 58.8 mm in diameter in very good condition and keeping excellent time for an antique timepiece.

White enamel dial signed 'Hampden Watch Co.' with black Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands and subsidiary seconds dial. In perfect condition.

The silverode case made by Philladelphia Watch Case Co. with screw-on back and bezel having a thick bevelled edge mineral crystal. The back cover with a fairly worn engraving of a locomotive. In very good all round condition with no dings or scratching of note.

The stem wind, lever set gilt movement with 15 jewels, split bimetallic compensated balance and in very good condition and working order.
