Description

A very good Swiss solid 9ct gold half hunter presentation pocket watch dating to the 1920's of military interest in good working order. Measures 49mm in diameter and weighs 93g.

Condition:

Dial - white enamel with black Roman numerals, blued steel hands and sub. seconds dial in excellent condition with no hairlines or chips

Case - Dennison solid 9ct gold half hunter bearing the following inscription to the back cover: 'Presented to Mr F. Gostlingby the officers, warrant officers and sergeants of the 5th Bn The Queen's Royal Regiment as a token of esteem after 58 years service with the regiment'. Also bearing the regiment's emblem and motto. The case is in very good all round condition having the odd very minor ding to the back cover. Covers open and close as they should and the hinges are good. Fully hall marked for 9ct gold including the dust cover.

Movement - Swiss 15 jewel with compensated balance in very good, clean condition and working order.
