Description

This fabulous Irish silver cream jug is dated Dublin 1801. Of oval bellied form with, it is finely bright-engraved with prick-dot and foliate motifs.
Reeded border and angular handle. One side with a vacant reserve, the other engraved with a family crest.

Hallmarks:

Dublin Assay mark ( Harp Crowned)
Lion Passant.
Date letter "E" for 1801.
Duty Mark.
No maker's marks.

Length from spout to handle: 14cm / 5.4 inches.
Weight: 169g / 5.7 oz.
