Description

This unusual and rather charming silver lidded lithyalin glass chatelaine scent bottle dates circa 1860. The discoidal body with slived-cut shoulders. The unmarked silver screw-top lid the ring attachment. Although probably destined to hang on a chatelaine, the flat base allows the bottle to be displayed upright.

Hallmarks:

Unmarked as was very often the case with small scent bottles but tested as silver.
