Description

This exquisite silver mounted white opaline glass chatelaine scent bottle dates circa 1880. The discoidal body covered with cast leaves shoulders. The embossed hinged lid with cork interior. The shoulders fitted with a silver chain and suspension loop.

Hallmarks:

Unmarked as was very often the case with small scent bottles but tested as silver.

Dimensions:

Height (excluding chain): 5.5cm / 2.1 inches.
Diameter: 4cm / 1.5 inches.

Condition:

Good.
Glass in good condition.
Silver lid and shoulders in good condition. No loss or damage.
