An unmatched pair of pretty objects which were also useful. This button hook and dressmaker's awl have Birmingham 1906 hallmarks and are stamped WM. The handles are in good condition and have only been lightly cleaned. The date letter on the button hook is partially rubbed but appears to be the 1906 date letter under a loupe. The hook and awl are stamped steel and show some darker areas which may clean. The handle designs differ slightly but the awl in particular is very Art Nouveau in style. Overall Length Button Hook 6.8cms, Awl 10.6cms. To be sold together, the price quoted is for the pair.
