Description
Oil on Canvas, Signed, in gilt frame, canvas size 18"x21"A french artist born in Paris c 1850 who specialised in views of Venice mainly in oil, he tended to use a bright pallet which gives a very pleasing appearance to all his works. He was an engraver and etcher. Tourette exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Francais and received an honourable mention in 1904.
