Description

This lovely and well executed copy of the portrait painting of Mrs Siddons, a famous actress of the late 18th Century, originally painted by the English painter, Thomas Gainsborough, which hangs in the National Gallery.. This oil on canvas measures 40 in – 101.6 cm wide by 50 ½ in – 128.3 cm in height. The portrait including the frame, measures 45 ½ in – 115.5 cm wide, 55 ½ in – 141 cm high and 2 ¼ in – 5.7 cm deep. This painting would make an excellent point of interest and a striking decorator’s piece for many rooms.
The painting is in unrestored condition and has not been cleaned or relined, however, for an additional fee, we can provide this service if so desired. .
