This magnificent late 18th C. gilt wood console table features a highly ornate but delicately designed series of scrolls, leaves and florals. The two supporting cabriole legs are joined at the base with a series of scroll motifs and stand on curled feet. The table measures 29 ½ in – 75 cm wide, 17 ¼ in – 43.8 cm deep at the deepest point center and stands 32 in – 81.2 cm high. The marble top is a mixture of rich dark tones of brown, gold and red. This piece would make a superb focal point for a variety of rooms and settings.
