This charming pair of semi-elliptical side tables features 18th C Satinwood tops, inlaid with swags and festoons in the classical manner. The tops are cross banded with Rosewood and harewood inset and detailing. They are supported on four tapered legs and a frieze apron, all inlaid to match. The tops are c. 1780, with the bases a later mid-20th century addition. Each table measures 37 1/2 in - 95.5 cm wide, 17 in - 43.5 cm deep and 33 1/2 in - 85 cm in height. Their sleek, clean design would work well with contemporary as well as traditional room settings.
