A good quality Queen Anne style dwarf walnut bookcase of breakfront form. The book matched walnut top having a cross banded and moulded edge above a beaded frieze which has 2 useful pull out book rest slides with brass pulls. The centre panelled door having applied cross grain mouldings within cross banded frames and flanked by astragal glazed doors with conforming mouldings and cross banding. Each section having 2 adjustable shelves and brass escutcheons, working locks and keys. The whole standing on ogee shaped bracket feet. An unusual bookcase in very good condition.
