Description

A beautifully figured and original George II small mahogany bureau, Circa 1750. The fall is supported on pull out lopers and reveals a well fitted interior consisting of 4 narrow and 2 wide drawers below 6 pigeon holes. To the centre is a fielded, solid mahogany door flanked by 2 tall drawers with applied square and fluted columns. The bureau has 4 graduated and moulded edge drawers all retaining the original brass handles, escutcheons and working locks with keys. The whole stands on off set shaped bracket feet and is in very good condition throughout, burnished and waxed in our own workshop. Dimensions:- Height…42’’/ 107cm. Width…36’’/ 91.5cm.
