An interesting late 19th or early 20th Century pair hall or desk chairs. The unusual castellated tops between carved foliage and centred with a shield shaped carved portrait of man to one chair and a lady to the other. The shaped arms are supported on turned columns with hand dyed re-upholstered leather seats and brass studded detail. The chairs are raised on turned front legs joined with a serpentine shaped carved frieze and out-swept back legs. Both in very good condition and ready for use in the home or office.
