An unusual tall pair of 19th century mahogany open library bookcases. The ogee inverted breakfront cornices having cock beading detail and well carved shell carved capitals. Below are shaped and shallow carved friezes flanked by Corinthian carved corbels on applied square columns with chamfered edges and applied turned patrae. The interiors having 4 adjustable shelves and iron bracket for wall fixing if needed. Both bookcases are raised on plinth bases, one bookcase width is 40.75’’ (103.5cm) the other 40.5’’ (103cm).
