A stunning serpentine shaped mahogany, walnut and marquetry inlaid 2 part cocktail cabinet. The gilded swan and floral crest above the moulded frieze supported by gilded and inlaid columns. The serpentine doors having fine floral marquetry in exotic woods and framed within scrolling boxwood inlay. The doors open to reveal a very busy interior with a marquetry tavern scene which opens to form an engraved mirrored drinks making area. The conforming mirrored back with plate glass shelves and bottle or glass holders. The door interiors having further marquetry with wooden shelves adorned with turned columns linked with beaded swags. The base section of serpentine form with canted corners and 2 parquetry and marquetry inlaid drawers with brass handles. The back having a book matched walnut panel with boxwood inlay and joining supporting shaped and inlaid mahogany stretchers.
