A substantial 19th.Century ebonised and ormolu mounted cabinet bookcase. The rectangular shaped top above a cast egg and dart moulding leading to a stunning acanthus mounted frieze. The 2 glazed doors having ormolu mouldings and open via lock and key to the mahogany polished interior with 2 adjustable shelves. The stiles are decorated with caryatids to the top and shaped mounts below. The plinth base having further beading with scrolling and mask ormolu mounts.
