A good quality Biedermeier bookcase constructed from the fine figured mahogany with oak linings. The caddy top above a moulded cornice with 2 glazed doors below, both having flame mahogany cross banding and moulded detail. The doors open via a brass lock and key to a polished interior with 4 adjustable shelves. The base section having a wide drawer above 2 flame mahogany panelled doors again with working lock and shelved interior. The bookcase is supported on a moulded frieze with well carved lion’s paw feet. Condition- Very good with 1 or 2 very minor bumps or bruises fully cleaned and waxed ready for use in the home or office. Dimensions:- Max.Height…89.25’’/ 226.5cm. Maximum Width at Feet…45’’/ 114cm.
