A large Anglo Indian carved hardwood elephant centre table dating from the late 19th. / early 20th.Century. The oval top having a gadrooned centre with a carved edge scrolling flowering vines, birds and mythical beasts. The table is supported on 4 carved elephant heads with bone tusks and their trunks forming the legs. The strengthening cross stretchers joined in the centre by a small turned bowl overseen by stylised cobra snake heads.
