A good George III beautifully figured flame mahogany music or reading stand. The canted corner top has a removable book rest which allows the stand to be used as an occasional table. The underside having a brass catch and angle adjustment fitting. The ring turned mahogany column has a brass collar screw which allows height adjustment and the whole raised on reeded sabre legs.
