A small Regency rosewood and boxwood inlaid pedestal partners desk of unusual proportions. The rectangular shaped top having boxwood inlaid detail with a centre leather writing surface which has an interior ratchet that is opened by a strung button beneath the centre drawer front. The 4 real drawers and 1 faux drawer with further boxwood line inlay and mostly original brass pulls. The reverse side having 3 conforming short drawers above 2 cupboard doors with shelf interiors.
