A good quality figured mahogany occasional table, the oval shaped top having satinwood cross banding with ebony and boxwood stringing with a further inset line of boxwood stinging. The centre having an inlaid panel of flowers in various stained woods. Below is an inset frieze with satinwood banding and the whole stands on square tapered legs with a shaped and inlaid under tier. The table bears the retailers label for W. Taylor & Son of Brompton Road, London. Condition- very good. Dimensions:- Height…29’’/ 73.5cm. Width…26.75’’/ 68cm. Depth…18.75’’/ 47.5cm.
